Agia Napa Waterpark

In Agia Napa we went to the water park!!!!!!!! We went with Dad, Nick, Maria, Dom and US!
We had been talking about going since we came to Cyprus and we were all really excited.

When we got there we went into a normal pool and had a swim then we went on the water slides. First we went on one with four lanes and we had to go down on a mat and we had races. Next we went to two slides and one was open and you had to go down on a ring and the other one was a normal closed up one. We went on them a few times. After that we had lunch.

Then we went on these awesome water slides that were pitch black. Next we all went on the lazy river but it went really slow.Then we all got together and went to the wave pool. After that the kids went on this really big bouncy sphere that had water all over it which was really fun!!!!!

Nick, Dom, Dad, Jay and Luca went on these reeeeaaaallllly big water slides that looked really freaky!!!! They were so awesome and we went really fast. We started off really high!!!!!!! We went so fast our lips were shaking while we were coming down! We went back on the ones we liked again. Then we went home.

On Tuesday we went to Constantina's parents' house. Constantina is going to get married to Dad's cousin, Theo.

Here we are in this photo with Dom, Nick, Maria, Uncle Damon and Aunty Crysa at Aunty Crysa's house.

The Begining Of Cyprus

On Sunday we arrived in Cyprus. When we got to the airport we walked through and got our bags. We got our Yoo Hoo signs out which is a family joke between Maria and Papou. Theese were the people who met us at the airport; Crysa who is Yiayia's sister, Uncle Daymon who is Crysa's husband, Maria, Nick and Theo who are Dad's first cousins,  Dom who is Maria's husband and Constantina who is Theo's fiancée.

Athens Reptile Zoo!

On Saturday we went to the Athens reptile zoo!
There were lots of big snakes, small and fat snakes.

This snake is a cobra, they are my favourite snakes. This cobra was up like it is in the photo and lunged at me and tried to bite me!!!

But it hit the glass. Thank goodness!!!!!!!

This is a boa constrictor. There were three but the biggest one was 5 metres. They squeeze their prey to death and then eat them. They can also do it to us.

This is a big python. They are the longest snakes in the world. They can open up their mouths so they can swallow you whole. They are very fat. 

This snake is extremely rare. It lives between Pakistan and Afghanistan in the desert.

This snake is a white cobra.









There were also iguanas, crocodiles, anacondas, rattle snakes, a rhinoceros snake and lots of anther snakes!!

The Parthenon

Today we went to the Parthenon! We walked to the acropolis. It was really hot and when we were getting the tickets we went to get some water but they only had sparkling and everyone was really thirsty!!! We walked up the acropolis and when we got to the top we saw all the temples!!!! 







                                                                                           


The Parthenon had scaffolding on it and there were cranes because they were doing restoration work. 


                                                                                                                       

When we got back down to the bottom of the acropolis we went to the museum and had lunch. After lunch we looked around the museum. There were lots of old sculptures that they had found on the acropolis.

ATHENS!!!

We are in Athens!!!!

We really liked Eresos and we made some nice relationships with the village people there.

We were all rreeeaaalllyyyy sad to leave but glad to finally arrived in Athens.

The trip to Mytilene was really nice. We had lunch at a yummy taverna. When we got to the airport we met the rental car people there to drop the rental car off. When we arrived in Athens we saw this guy holding a sign With Barbara Geris written on it and it was the man to take us to the apartment.
We had a private bus all to ourselves.

The apartment is really small but it fits all 8 of us.
